Follow the on screen prompts to install the software, at some point in the installation process the following should be displayed :
***Important*** select the correct radio button for your situation, there are 4 options to choose from:
Option #1, for hose who have a hosted server for their licenses, maning licensing centrally stored on a Bentley computer, use the 1st radio button
Option #2, for those who have a deployed server for their licenses, meaning licensing centrally stored on a company computer, use the 2nd radio button.
Option #3, for those who have no central computer for licenses or license is on the individuals system (i.e. node Lock), use the 3rd radio button.
Option #4, for those who are evaluating the application, use the 4th radio button.
Select the appropriate radio button and press the Next button, see the applicable selection below:
Enter the Site Activation key as EXACTLY provided, (go to step #3).
Enter both the Server Name and Site Activation as EXACTLY provided, (go to step #3).
Again, select the appropriate radio button, and press Next button.
Continue to follow instructions as displayed
Radio button #1: Browse and select for the node lock license file (*.XML) provided, (go to step #6).
Radio button #2: Enter Site Activation Key as provided and press Next button (go to step #3)
Radio button #3: Press Close button, Finished.
Press Close button, Finished
Press Test Connection button:
If the following appears, GREAT... continue to the next section by pressing OK button
However, if the following appears, confirm the internet connection, Server Name, and Site activation key are correct. If the problem still persists, then contact the Bentley License Department for further assistance.
Select a Country from the drop down listing and press Next button
Screen to confirm settings from previous screens, Press Finish button.
You have completed the program installation. press the CLOSE button
