Question:

When a file(s) is moved out of the created environment, will the Font definition and scale factor/scale lock survive the transmission of the file out of one environment into another that does not recognize the old workspace settings?

Solution:

If a file(s) is moved out of the created environment, the font definition will be supported if the font used is located on that new machine or new environment.  The scale factor for text placed in a design file will be honored on that new machine or new environment because the text scale is stored in the DGN.
