Question:

When creating a surface in Roadway Designer, if I check "Display in Plan View: Features", it displays all of the features in the design file. How can I display only the cut and fill lines?

Answer:

Leave "Display in Plan View: Features" unchecked in the Create Surfaces dialog. After the surface is created, use Surface > View Surface > Features to select only the cut and fill features from the design surface. You can also use the Surface > Update 3-D/Plan Surface Display dialog.
