Question:

Why are Object Snaps are not working in AutoCAD when using the Move PI command?

Answer:

From within InRoads, go to Tools>Customize.  You will see on the Toolbars tab a toolbar named “Snaps (AutoCAD)”.  Toggle this on and you will have an AutoCAD object snap toolbar added to the InRoads Explorer.  This toolbar enables you to snap to objects in AutoCAD.  The regular AutoCAD snaps are not honored in InRoads, so this is an add-on to address that issue.  To use the snaps, click the type snap you want right before you snap to the point.  Please note that you won’t get the typical AutoCAD “box” highlighting the position, however, the command does snap to the location that you specify.
