Question:

How can I add additional space at the bottom of each extracted cross section (inside each cross section)?

Answer:

Evaluation > Cross Section > Create Cross Section - Layout Spacing leaf:

The Window Clearance toggle adds additional space at the top and bottom of each extracted cross section (inside each cross section).  If the Elevation Limits option is selected on the Controls Limits dialog box, this option adds space above and below those predefined limits.  Otherwise, this option adds vertical space above and below the elevations that were automatically computed according to the surface(s) to display in the cross sections.

Specify the clearance to add to the top and bottom of the cross section:
Top - specifies additional clearance to add at the top of each cross section.
Bottom - specifies additional clearance to add at the bottom of each cross section.
