Question:

I using the Set Elevation command.  I am trying to select a graphic, but am unable to do so.  In fact, all the fields under Graphics are greyed out.  How can I fix this?

Answer:

If the Locate Lock (Tools > Locks > Locate) is set to locate features, this command operates on features only.  If the Locate Lock is set to locate graphics, this command operates on graphics only.  The current setting of the Locate Lock is indicated in the Current Locate Mode field at the top of the Set Elevation dialog box.  If it is set to "Features", the fields associated with graphic selection will be greyed out.  To change this, simply toggle the Locate Lock back to Graphics.
