I am unable to scale cells. I have referenced in a drawing and then scaling the model from 1:100 to 1:50. All of the text and lines scale but not the cells. The cells in the cell library have the annotations set but they are not scaling.
Also there is text that should be attached to certain cells. When I scale the model the text moves from the cell and sometimes you are not sure if the text is associated with the cell. Annotation cell:
Basically, if a cell is created with the annotation scale toggled on, and it is used in the smd (without applying creation scale), then when it is placed in a design file, if the drawing scale is set in the design file this should be applied to the cell at placement
There has been a new feature added to MicroStation which allows a user to place a cell with an annotation scale applied to it. In order to use the functionality it must be enabled on the cell itself.
To Enable a cell for placement as an annotation cell:
1. Open the cell library as you would a design file.
2. Open the Model Manager; the cells are listed as models.
3. Browse to the cell to have the annotation scale applied to.
4. Go to the properties icon on the Model Manager and Enable "can be placed as an annotation cell".
Once this is enabled and the "annotation scale" lock is set, the user will be able to choose the annotation scale icon located
in the "place active cell" dialog. If neither one of these is enabled, the annotation scale icon will be grayed out.
