Question:

How can you display the existing ground in Roadway Designer as dashed line instead of solid line?

Answer:

While it is not possible to change the Line Style, Scale, or Weight for a surface line in Roadway Designer (only the color), there is an option that will allow you to view your design surface(s) as a dashed line.  This is helpful when trying to differentiate between existing and design surface.  From within Roadway Designer, go to Tools > Options and toggle on “Triangulated Surface”.  With this option toggled on, the triangulated surface will be displayed as a red dashed line in the cross section view.
