Error or Warning Message

Error creating renditions from PW Explorer:  “Error calling the rendition web service. –The remote server returned an unexpected response: (405) Method Not Allowed.  Mscorlib – The remote server retuned and error: (405) Method Not Allowed.”

How to Avoid

Open Server Manager.  Expand features.  Verify that WCF Activation has been installed for both HTTP and non-HTTP.  Only non-HTTP is required but the install will error if you don’t have HTTP WCF activation.
