Problem Description

The following File Self-registration Error
appears during the re-installation of ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer Version 08.11.11.34 on a Windows 7 64 Bit system:

File C.\Program Files (x86)\CommonFiles\InterPlot\APLOT\bin\aplotsrv.dll failed to self-register with an error
161: The specified path is invalid

 

 

Steps to Resolve

Bring the entire C:\win32app\ingr\ipshare\bin on the beginning of the System Variable Path.

How to do that

Go to  Start -> Control Panel-> System -> Advanced System Settings-> System Properties  -> Environment
Variables … -> System Variables -> select Path -> Edit … -> make your changes -> ok -> ok -> ok .
