Problem

Executive Server Error 157.
Customer has 2 archives on different domains. Problem is to connect in
Archive Explorer a remote archive.
Error message:
Unable to Connect to Plot Server.
Executive Server Error 157.
DPR Executive Server: The creation of an instance of the Enterprise
Archive Server (DPRARCHSERV) failed on Remote Server.
Please make sure the ProjectWise InterPlot Server product is installed
on the remote plot Server.
Also configure the DPRArchServ DCOM Component. On the remote plot
Server, from the command prompt, run DCOMCNFG utility.
Select DPRArchServ application properties, from the security tab make
sure those users who require remote Archiving viewing capabilities have
"Access, Launch and Configuration" privileges.

Solution

Grand access to the new domains user at:
- In DCOMCNFG utility.
Select DPRArchServ application properties, from the security tab make
sure those users who require remote Archiving viewing capabilities have
"Access, Launch and Configuration" privileges.
- On Share and file level level
- To C:\plotwork\Archives !!
