Pen table priorities not honored

Problem

If the priorities which are set in a pen table are not being honored when the file is printed or plotted to paper, it could be due to changes that took place throughout the Microstation/J /XM/ V8i migration. That plus the fact that there might be a combination of 2D and 3D files where display depth issues come into play could cause the priorities to misbehave.


Solution

By setting a global or base priority to all of the graphic elements at the very beginning of the attached pen table, the priorities defined throughout the rest of the pen table will be honored. The first line of the pen table should be simply priority = 1
