Problem

How is it determined which print option is initially selected when InterPlot Organizer's File->Print dialog is opened?

Solution

IP_ORG_SEPARATEPRINTJOBS determines which print option is initially selected when Organizer's File->Print dialog is opened. Valid values are: "true", "false" and "auto".

When set to "true", the "Submit plots as Separate print jobs" option will be selected when the File->Print dialog is opened. This means each plot will be its own print job in in the print spooler. This mode is useful for large plot sets and when creating offline raster files using ProjectWise InterPlot's Offline Driver products. When set to "false", the "Submit plots as One print job" option will be selected when the File->Print dialog is opened. This means that all of the plots will print as a single job. This mode is useful when printing multiple copies of an entire plot set to document class devices that inherently support multi-copy and collation. When set to "auto" (which is the default), Organizer uses the last used setting in the Print dialog to determine how the plot set is to be submitted.
