Problem

Would like a single rendition profile that can be used to place renditions from iCS into a PDF folder which is in the root of a corresponding discpline, all within a project. eg. ProjectA/Mining/PDF regardless of the source folder location. Renditions are being created from nested folders with varying locations (eg ProjectA/Mining/Folder1/Fodler2 or ProjectA/mining/Folder1) hence one Rendition Profile cannot be used.

 

Solution

There are two options that could be used;
1. Define departments for each discipline and assign to respective documents
2. Set up a ProjectWise attribute that defines the discipline and use it in the relative path of the rendition profile
