Question:

When selecting a command such as Evaluation>Profiles, the dialog boxes are transparent. This behavior is isolated to one computer.

Answer:

This behavior can be resolved by selecting Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization\Window Color and Appearance. Here you can disable transparency.
