Problem

When I plot with "Dynamic Plots" enabled I get the following entry in errorlog:

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Bentley.DPS.DPSDriverProxy, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
File name: 'Bentley.DPS.DPSDriverProxy, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'  at PatSvcPlotServer(PdfDll* me, SByte* plotServerName, SByte* queueName) WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF. To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging. To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Solution

Had the user run the "Bentley Digital Writing Manager" from Start->All programs->Bentley->ProjectWise Dynamic Plot Service AdministratorV8i (SELECTseries1". This is covered on page 3-8 of the implementation guide.
