The following points should be considered when licensing ProjectWise InterPlot products

The following points should be considered when licensing ProjectWise InterPlot products:
 
-          ProjectWise InterPlot Server + Organizer + Driver Packs use the same licensing mechanism as MicroStation.
 
-          Check the SELECTServer name
 
-          Check the  Site Activation Key

 

-          Test the SELECTserver name and Site Activation Key using  Test Connection

 

-          Try to license the Product during the installation, then the license information is stored correctly in the registry under  HKEY_Local_Machine

 

-          If you license the Product after the installation, make sure you start the License Management Tool (LMT, licensetool.exe) by right mouse clicking on licensetool.exe select „Run as administrator“.
 
 
-          The license information should be always stored for „All Users of this machine“ and not for „Current User Only“.

 

If one of the ProjectWise InterPlot programs was already activated and you notice problems with the license (watermark on the plot), please proceed as follows:
 
 
 
 
·    Now ask a user to print using ProjectWise InterPlot, afterwards open the  LMT -> Tools -> und select  Send Logs Now- >
 
The actual error log files are now stored in the above configure error log directory. Please send these files to the Support Analyst.

 

 
Another option is to license the ProjectWise InterPlot product using the CheckOut option if you can access the SELECTserver.
 
Open the LMT on the computer in question LMT -> select License Checkout TAB -> select the needed product -> type in a Checkout Expiration Date and select CheckOut
