Question:

Can InRoads SS2 and SS3 be installed on the same machine?

Answer:

Yes, with the following recommendations:

• Access the softwares using their respective icons.  (with either the “-wsLoad_InRoads_SS2” or “-wsLoad_InRoads_SS3” switch set).  If this switch had previously been set with a CFG file at the system level, it will have to be removed and set on the icons.
• Use separate MicroStation preferences (username & projectname) while using InRoads SS2 & InRoads SS3.
• Keep SS2 and SS3 datasets separate between the two versions.
