Problem Description

When I attempt to export a pdf using the Export to PDF option in Projectwise Interplot Organizer, the following error appears when processing a Microsoft Office document: "Could not create pdf file"

Steps to Resolve

1. Open Projectwise Interplot Organizer Configure
2. Choose the "Integrate" option
3. Select the "Office" tab
4. Verify the correct settings, particularly the "PDF Creator Application Arguments"

This entry was blank and should have been populated with the following string since Ghostscript was being used as the application to process the Office documents:

-q -dSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=

 

Ghostscript was reinstalled to correct problem.
