Problem

When I try to create a PDF I get the following error message - this is the same from both ProjectWise Explorer and also when setting up a job in iCS Administrator.

Failed - Failed to add plot on SERVERNAME for document "\\SERVERNAME\iCS_Work\\1\191_1|\filename':
CMDERR, executed ipmstnsrvn, which failed

Solution

Had user set the variable IP_DCS_RENDITION_PRINTER in the ip.cfg file on the iCS server to a valid printer
