A single DGN file contains multiple sheet models. The goal is to create a PDF from each sheet model using iCS. Use the following steps to produce an individual PDF for each sheet model straight from the DGN without an IPS file.
1 - Create an IPLOT settings file that sets the plot area to pick up all sheet models:
Note: IP_DESIGN_MODELS can be used in the Search Models section to pick up all design models from the single DGN file.
2 - Create a Source File Presentation Settings rendition component that points to the IPLOT settings file created above.
3 - Create an Output File Naming Conventions rendition component that defines the output file name of the PDF to use the Sheet Model name:
4 - For adhoc/on demand job rendition submissions, create a Rendition Profile that uses the Source File Presentation Settings and Output File Naming Conventions rendition components created above. For schedules jobs, select the Source File Presentation Settings in the Presentation Profile Components section on the Rendition Settings tab and the Output File Naming Conventions in the File name profile component section on the Distribution Settings tab.
5 - For the adhoc/on demand job, right click on the DGN containing the multiple sheet models and select the appropriate Rendition Profile as defined above. For the scheduled job in OF Administrator, add the DGN containing the multiple sheet models to the Input Files tab.
6 - When the jobs is executed, the results will be an individual PDF for each sheet model in the file. The job details in OF Administrator:
