Question:
I am attempting to import geometry into OpenRoads using the Import Geometry tool. However, one of the vertical alignments is imported but is not ruled. Why is this alignment not ruled when others are?
Answer:
If any of the following conditions are true, the imported geometry will not be ruled:
If the following is true then a "too many elements" message is produced:
- Number of adjacent lines is greater than 20
If the following are true then a "too complex message" is produced:
- The element is a circular vertical curve
- Adjacent parabolas (i.e., reverse or compound)
