Error calling the rendition web service when creating a rendition with PW Explorer.

When testing the Rendition Web Service URL in IIS on the Rendition server (Http://localhost/RenditionService/RenditionService.svc) the following HTTP Error displays:

HTTP Error 404.7 Not Found - The request filtering module is configured to deny the file extension.

Solution

In IIS, edit Request Filtering settings on web.config and confirm “Allow unlisted file extensions” is enabled
