Problem

User would like to run iCS Composition Server Administrator from their client computer to remotely monitor jobs and when installed, they are seeing Red X's in all of the nodes

 

Solution

Ensure that the firewall is configured correctly for MSMQ access (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/183293). The user also requires access to the database on the database server and will need to have dbo rights.
