DOCM files are not supported with InterPlot or iCS.  DOCM files run macros when opened and which is a security issue on an iCS server.

Bentley made a decision several years ago to not support .docm files in iCS for PDF, for 2 reasons.

1) Security. Out of an abundance of caution we do not support .docm files as malicious software could be run in a .docm file. This issue is especially worrisome on an unattended automation server.

2) Pop-up dialogs that require action. With the .docm files, we ran into issues where there might be a pop-up dialog that requires action on the part of an interactive user, such as a password. These files fail on an iCS server after they reach the timeout that’s set on the server. This would make jobs slower if there were several that were set to process but are waiting for user interaction.
