When using a wide format Bentley plotter driver, the media is trimmed at a standard size regardless of the plot size. The desired trimming is at the end of the image.
Solution:
Use the Graphical Attribute Editor to reconfigure the Cut method to Synchro.
· On the InterPlot server select Start > All Programs > Bentley > ProjectWise InterPlot Utilities > Graphical Attribute Editor
· Select File > Open Default > select the Printer > OK
· Change the Cut Method from Standard (default) to Synchro
· Select File > Save as Default, answer Yes in the Information dialog
Cut Method
Standard – the driver cuts the plot at the best standard size.
Synchro – the driver cuts the plot at the end of the image.
Custom – the driver cuts the plot at a user-defined length. This command is used with the Cut length control.
