RealDWG support for the version of DWGs you are publishing
Your i-model publishing engine may already deliver the required version of RealDWG.
For example, no additional configuration is required to publish 2012 format DWGs using Bentley i-model Composer, as Bentley i-model Composer V8i (SELECTseries 4) delivers RealDWG 2012.
If your application does not support 2013 or 2014 format DWGs, download and install Bentley V8i
(SELECTseries 3) - Autodesk RealDWG 2014. Once installed, RealDWG 2014 is automatically set as
the active version.
If RealDWG 2014 is set as the active version but you need to publish 2012 format DWGs, switch the
active version to RealDWG 2012 before publishing. To do this, open the application you are using as
the i-model publishing engine, then create a configuration variable called MS_REALDWG_VERSION and
set the value to 2012 (MS_REALDWG_VERSION=2012). Note that you cannot publish 2013 or 2014
format DWGs in this mode.
To switch the active version back to RealDWG 2014, you can either delete the variable or change the
value to 2014 (MS_REALDWG_VERSION=2014).
Your input sets should not contain DWGs that require different versions of RealDWG, otherwise some
DWGs will fail to publish. Instead, keep your DWGs that require different versions of RealDWG in
separate jobs.
