Question:

Why am I not able to add styles for survey points?

Answer:

The inability to add styles to an XIN is usually due to a Read-Only XIN. This can be verified by select the Preferences tab from the InRoads Workspace Bar and right-click on the preference path, a menu will display.

If there is a check mark next to the Read-Only, your XIN is Read-Only and you can check Read-Write if the XIN is not locked by another user.

If the XIN is locked by another users, select Details and the Access Control Details dialog box will open displaying the user who has Read-Write access. Request that user change there access to Read-Only so that you can gain Read-Write access and add survey points.
