Elevation is Left Blank in Point Feature Offset Elevation Report

Question:

I have created a Point Feature Station Offset Elevation Report, however the elevations are all blank.  Why is this?

Answer:

This tool can be used in 2D or 3D views or models; however, If data in a 2D model or view is used, the elevation field is left blank.
