Problem:

When attempting to open a .alg file in ProjectWise, the following error message is displayed:

Try again, unable to pull from ProjectWise!

Solution:

You will receive this message when attempting to open a .alg file from a read-only folder on ProjectWise if, and only if, you have the option "Geometry - Alternate Workflow with ProjectWise" enabled in Tools>Variable Manager.  This option enables the software to manage the access to .alg files differently in a ProjectWise environment.  When enabled, the software will automatically check-out and check-in the .alg file.

To resolve this issue, either disable this option or change the ProjectWise folder containing the .alg file to read-write.
