How do I display profiles from multiple terrain models in profile view if they are not the active terrain model?

Answer:

You can use one of two tools:

• The Profile from Surface tool will generate a profile whose elevations are determined by draping onto a surface. The surface may be a terrain model, a mesh, or mesh solid.
  
  
  
  
  
• The Quick Profile from Surface tool is a companion tool that provides the same result, but simplifies the input by assuming that the entire element is draped and that the offsets are zero.
