Problem
Messenger service notification does not trigger response from the workstation, but does trigger response from the server.
Solution
The messaging service component needs to be installed on the client.
User was able to send a message from the server to the client, and the client could receive, read and reply to that message. The message was then received on the server. So we knew that communication was flowing between the client and the server and that the proper ports were open. However the notification trigger was not working on the client though it worked on the server.
