Error or Warning Message

Error 1325 Projectwise is not a valid short file name.

Explanation

Upgrading Integration Server and receives error 1325 Projectwise is not a valid short file name.

How to Avoid

Option 1

1. Set up installer logging to see what is preventing install -
   http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223300

   Msi Logging indicated problem with modifying INDEX_STORAGE_DIR property. Its current value = 'C:\ProgramData\Bentley\pw-index-storage\'. Its new value: 'D:\ProjectWise\Index\Data'.

   Redirect registry entries as Index was originally installed on another drive on Production server.
