How do I layout an inlet with no gutter?

Answer:

To layout an inlet without a gutter, set the Gutter Type to "Shallow Swale". Shallow Swale assumes frontal flow as well as side flow from two directions, whereas the other gutter types assume frontal flow and side flow from only one direction.
