Error or Warning Message

"Failed to delete the interface.  The interface is used, so it cannot be deleted."

Explanation

There are attributes configured in an attribute layout for that interface

How to Avoid

Option 1

1. In ProjectWise Administrator, expand Environments

2. Under each enviornment, expand Attribute Layout

3. For the interface you are trying to delete, click on 'Attributes' tab and 'More Attributes' tab

4. Delete anything shown in the layout

Option 2 - if the error still occurs after Option 1

1. In the layout-attributes tab, right click 'add attributes'
2. Select all attributes and click ok
3. Delete all attributes you just added from the layout
4. repeat for each enivornment as needed until the Interface is able to be deleted
