Changing the Projectwise Administrator Password. What services or functions should we check that may use this account?

Question:  We are planning to change the ProjectWise administrator password and want to know what services or functions should we check that may use this account.  Do we need to reset the password under each of these services \ functions?

Answer:  Anywhere you used the admin user account will need to have the password re-entered.

Here is a list of places that you may have used the account.

In ProjectWise Administrator, User Sync service (Windows Security system), and any of the document processors (Full Text, Thumbnail, File Properties)

If you are using the web and configured single sign-on and used the admin as the delegate user, you will need to re-enter the password in that configuration gui.

If you are using Distribution \ ICS \ DCS and have jobs setup and you used the admin account as the delegate user then you will need to change the password in the OF Admin, under the Bentley ICS\DCS for PDF browser, configuration, "ProjectWise user credentials."
