Acrobat does not allow connection to:

pw://servername:datasource/Documents/folder/document.dgn

Explanation

Saving a URN or URL link into a Word document, then saving as PDF.  The link will work from the Word document, but the error occurs when clicking on the link in the pdf.  Starting in Acrobat X, Adobe started enforcing more strict URL checking. Adobe is expecting that servername:datasource is actually hostname:port number.  Since ProjectWise links are not in a standard URL format, and there is text not a numeric value after the colon, the error will occur and not open the link.
