Cannot login to the datasource

Invalid user name and password combination.

Explanation

Assuming the username and password have been confirmed to be accurate, what is likely happening is that the user is logging into an external datasource, using their email address as a username that is configured as a logical account.

ProjectWise is going to recognize that the username is the same as the URN of a domain user, and attempt to validate the password against the domain, instead of the logical password in the ProjectWise database.

There is a defect filed internally against ProjectWise on this issue (27162), however this is not a good practice to use the @ symbol in ProjectWise logical accounts

How to Avoid

1. Change the username to something other than the users email address

1. In ProjectWise Administrator, go to the settings of this user and enter a blank space at the end of username
