This video demonstrates some abilities in OpenRoads and MicroStation to generate longitudinal elements and add them as breakline features in a terrain model.  The tools shown represent different processes to create longitudinal ruled elements as features for Terrains.  Some of the tools utilized are the Single Offset Entire Element and Variable Offset Taper commands for generating horizontal offset features.  For vertical Profiles, we show the use of Profile by Slope from Element and Profile by Variable Slope from Element to generate the elevations of the elements which are then added to the terrain.
