Question:

Is there a way to convert preference files from previous InRoads versions to an XIN file?

Answer:

The INI to XIN Translator converts civil preference files, WYSIWYG files, Survey fxp files, Survey fwf files, the TIW.ini file, and the impexp.ini file from their original format into the XIN preference format.  The INI to XIN Translator reads in ini, fwf and one or more fxp files and converts them into XML format according to the XIN preference schema.

This translator can be found by going to Start> Programs > Bentley > InRoads Group [Version] > INI To XIN Translator.
