Question:

When user define surface style with displaying the plan points with cell using rotation option "Angle Relative to Object", the cell doesn’t respect the angle of Object.

 

Solution:

The Angle Relative to Object is not applied to the selected cell when using the surface commands.

A more suitable command may be Surface>View Surface>Annotate Feature>Slope Direction. This command will allow you to select the Feature to be annotated and the cell you’d like to place along that feature.  Also with this command, the cell is rotated relative to the feature that is selected on the Main tab provided Annotate, Slope Direction has been selected on this tab. You can also annotate Every Segment or At an Interval.
