The installation fails at that point regardless if I choose Yes or No
I am trying to install PW Explorer SS3 on a users PC with an XP OS. I keep getting an Internet Explorer Script Error during the installation. I am using the Bentley supplied installation package for SS3.
Solution
Looking at the .JS script file and found the offending line, but it appeared to be a call to the equivalent of a MSIEXEC call.
using the MSIEXEC command from a DOS window.
C:\BentleyDownloads\pwclt08110991en\explorer>> Msiexec "ProjectWise Explorer V8i
(SELECTseries 3) (x86).msi" /lvi* c:\Installer.log
And it ran to completion. ProjectWise SS3 is installed.
