Problem
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly "Microsoft.VC90.ATL,
when installing bentley software (Microstation or Projectwise Explorer) user is getting Error 1935. An error occurred druing the installation of assembly "Microsoft.VC90.ATL, version="0.0.30729.1",publicKeyToken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchtiecture="c86*,type="win32". User machine was a new machine that had been recently re-imaged with the OS.
User was attempting to install Microstation SS2 and Projectwise SS3
Solution
This error means there is something wrong within the operating system of the machine. googling the error brings back information on reinstalling Visual C++ libraries, .net, as well as the Microsoft installer.
