Overview
In previous versions of ProjectWise, specific client settings such as position of screens, icons, wizard manager and so on were stored in the user's local profile, in a file called pwv8.brg file:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Bentley\ProjectWise\Config\pwv8.brg file
In ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 3), this file is no longer delivered or used. For easier administration, any user configurations pertaining to the local ProjectWise Explorer and/or ProjectWise Administrator client that were previously stored in the pwv8.brg file are now stored in the Windows Registry.
Note that any information in a user’s existing pwv8.brg cannot be migrated to the new registry keys. Therefore any previous user configurations will be lost, and default values will be restored in the Registry.
