Last Error [50000] Failed to compile a moniker from given string. Not found
User receives an email with a link to a document in Projectwise. When he clicks the link he gets an error message
Last Error [50000] Failed to compile a moniker from given string. Not found."
There are a few known issues about this error message:
In the Address bar, Right click the path and choose copy URL then paste it into an email or document. This will provide the full path in the hyperlink
In the Address bar, Right click the path and choose copy URN then paste it into an email of document. This will provide a short path that includes the guid name of the file.
Other benefits of using the URN is that if the file is moved, it will still be found, since ProjectWise is directed to find the guid name versus the path.
