Problem
Does SELECTserver support MSDE?
Solution
The current version of SELECTserver 08.11.01.64 does not deliver MSDE as the database. SQL Express is the delivered application and it is the same one that is free and available to anyone from the Microsoft site. With that said the SELECTserver will update the tables in the database and continue working. Please note that Microsoft no longer supports the MSDE application. So this will work but is not recommended.
