Why is the Process File button dimmed when I attempt to import a SELECTserver response file?

Problem Description

When manually transmitting usage logs on a deployed server running SELECTserver 08.11.xx.xx, I am unable to import a response file. The Process File button in Step 4 on the Transmit Usage Logs page is disabled.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Open the Tools drop-down menu in the upper right corner, and select Compatibility View Settings.
  3. In the window that appears, enter the name of your server, and click the Add button.
  4. Your server should appear in the bottom list. Click the Close button to save changes.

The Process File button should function properly when viewing the SELECTserver administration site within Internet Explorer. This workaround does not resolve the problem in alternate browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
