How do I create the Payload for Installing ORD?

Answer:

1. Copy the “ord10030043en.exe” to a folder (for example to c:\temp folder)
2. Create a folder where you want to download the payload (in example shown below I have “ORD_CONNECT” folder under “C:\Temp\” folder)
3. Open Admin command prompt and navigate to where the “ord10030043en.exe” resides (in our example to “C:\temp”) and run the command as shown:

 C:\temp>ord10030043en.exe /layout c:\temp\ORD_CONNECT /passive

 4. This will start the download of all the installation files to the “ORD_CONNECT” folder

 

 

 5. After all files are downloaded, run “Setup_OpenRoadsDesignerx64_10.03.00.043.exe” to install ORD:
