What are the options for placing a civil point?

Answer:

The Point tool is location under OpenRoads Modeling > Geometry > Horizontal > Point. Here is the dialog that pops up when the tool is selected:

Elevation Mode:

• None - Select if you want a 2D point. No elevation is assigned
• Value - Select if you want to manually enter an Elevation

• Named Terrain Model/Mesh - Select if you want the Elevation to be assigned from a selected Terrain Model or Mesh

• Alignment - Select if you want the Elevation assigned from an alignment
