Question:

Why won't my Terrain File (*.tin, *.img, *.dtm, *.dem, *.pod, *.tif, *.hgt, *.xml) import? I get an Import Failed message, and I don't know how to fix it.

Answer:

This is probably due to the fact that the Terrain File is not within the previously defined extent of the project. Create a new file, and make sure that the Mapbox location is zoomed to the location of your terrain file. Then, import your Terrain File.
